3 Year LL.B.

Annual Intake : 60 Seats

Eligibility and Admission Procedure :

Admissions to the first year of the 3-year LL.B. course, in all colleges under the jurisdiction of Karnataka State Law University, is strictly based on merit, based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination.

To be eligible for admission in the 3-year LL.B. course, the candidate should:

Have graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by a State Legislature or an equivalent national institution recognized as a Deemed to be University or Foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalence, may apply for three-year degree course in law leading to the conferment of LL.B. degree on successful completion of the regular Programme conducted under these Regulations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Passed 10+2 (PUC or equivalent) from a recognized board

General: Minimum 45% marks

OBC: Minimum 42% marks

SC/ST: Minimum 40% marks

Fee Structure :

A candidate seeking admission to the three  Year LL. B. degree course and those  admitted to such course shall pay the tuition and other fees as prescribed by the University from time to time

  5. Criminal Law -I : Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)
  6. English (For those who write examinations in Kannada)

  3. Labour Law – I
  4. Property Law
  5. Family Law-II : Mohemmadan law and Indian succession Act.
  6. Kanoonu Kannada/Kannada Kali
Semester III
  1. Jurisprudence
  2. Labour-law – II
  3. Law of Taxation
  4. Criminal Law – II : Bharathiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhitha(BNSS)
  5. Administrative Law
Semester IV
  1. Public International Law
  2. Optional Law – I : Human Rights law and Practice / Insurance Law
  3. Optional – II : Banking Law/Right to Information
  4. Clinical Course – I : Professional Ethics and Professional Accounting System.
