It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that in accordance with UGC Regulation 2023, the Grievance Redressal Committee for Students is hereby constituted as under:
As Per the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of students ) Regulations, 2023, for students, “Grievance Redressal Committee ” has been constituted.
The grievance handling procedure will contribute to maintaining the harmonious environment in the organization. The Grievance Redressal Committee is expected to come up with a lot of initiatives that focus on providing a structured and effective complaints redressal mechanism.
The committee shall proactively give an opportunity to every student in VIL to be listened to so that any feeling of injustice is sorted out promptly.
The Institutional policy on grievance redressal has been formulated in order to make all the students aware of the complaint handling process. This system would ensure that the redressal sought is just and fair and is within the given frame-work of rules and regulation. The Committee shall discuss and analyze the causes for the complaints, the complaint resolution process and to discuss the progress and action plans on the same.
PROCEDURE
The students and the staff can voice their grievances in the written form. On the receipt of complaint, it is referred to the Grievance Redressal Committee and is resolved immediately. If they don’t get their grievance redressed they can approach the management of the Institution and
even if it is not addressed they can approach the University Grievance Redressal Cell.
The Committee will deal with Grievances received in written form, from the students about any of the following matters:
